From the Desk of Our Principal

Education is the most positive investment that humanity makes for its future generation. Riding high on the crest of expectation towards the goal of obtaining the highest grade point in the examination, every student feels pressurised in today’s context. In the whole process we forget the fact that our children are diverse in their academic, social, and emotional needs. What we need therefore to do is to ensure that we care more about the intellectual orientation of our children and help them accordingly within the boundaries of the system.

Education is an integrating process oriented to form integrated persons. It is a lifelong process including all influences from the cradle to the grave. It keeps modifying the behavioural patterns time to time. Hence there should be a shift in our higher expectation from 3R’s that’s reading, writing, Arithmetic to 3H’s that is Head, Heart and Hands. Head for knowledge, heart for value, hands for skills. Therefore education should lead the educand to the following aspects.

Education should give right values. It must cultivate right attitudes helping one to have the correct behavioural patterns. Everyone who influences the child must function like the four wheels of vehicles to the smooth reaching towards its Goal and take it as a collective effort. Very often we tend to blame each other instead of doing our part to help our child. The mender should be sharp and sensitive to modify one’s own behavioural pattern before he or she becomes a mender to regulate their expectation from the point of an educand.

The educator (both teachers and parents) should concentrate on the development of various areas of the students. Such as personal (self-worth and admiration), Social (being integrated with others), material (awareness about the things and world around us), transcended (God).

Children have their needs, dreams, and intrinsic worth that must be recognised and appreciated and supported within the knowledge pool of ours for the future generation. It is also significant that every child should have the opportunity to grow up in a setting that values children and provides condition for their safe and secure environment that respect diversity. We must equip the child to be self-reliant, free thinking, confident and independent individual. A society of such individuals can restructure the world positively.
